GPS / GNSS Surveys

Survey-grade satellite positioning for control networks, infrastructure and mapping at any scale.

Overview

GNSS surveying uses satellite positioning — GPS and its sister constellations — to fix positions to survey-grade accuracy across distances that would take conventional instruments days. We use it to establish control networks that other surveys hang from, to map large or difficult sites, and to position infrastructure across parishes rather than parcels.

When you need it. For control on any project bigger than a single lot; for roads, pipelines, drainage schemes and utilities; for mapping estates, quarries and agricultural land; for coastal and hillside work where lines of sight are poor; and whenever a project must sit correctly on the national grid.

Accuracy, stated. Every GNSS job is planned to the accuracy it needs — static observations for control, real-time methods for detail — and the achieved accuracy is reported with the results, so that the numbers can be trusted and reused.

What you receive. Coordinated control points with descriptions and accuracy statements, mapping or point data in the coordinate system the project uses, and a report that another surveyor or engineer can pick up without repeating the work.

How we work

1

Planning

We define the accuracy the project needs, the coordinate system, and the observation method that will deliver it.

2

Observation

Control is observed with survey-grade GNSS receivers, static or real-time as the job requires.

3

Processing and checks

Observations are processed and independently checked; achieved accuracy is recorded, not assumed.

4

Delivery

Coordinates, descriptions and the report are issued in the format the project team works in.
