Overview

Not every question needs a full design; many need an engineer who will look at the land, the drawings and the rules and say plainly what is possible, what it will take, and what to watch. Our consultancy work covers the technical questions that sit around land and building in Trinidad and Tobago, for private owners, developers and public bodies.

What we advise on. Site suitability and buildability, access and drainage, setbacks and planning requirements, earthworks and retaining structures, the survey and engineering inputs an application or a lender will ask for, and the sequencing of a project's technical work so that nothing is done twice.

How it is delivered. As a site visit and a written opinion, a technical report prepared for an authority or a lender, a review of drawings you already have, or standing advice through a project. Every engagement ends with a document you can act on and hand to the next professional.

What to bring. Whatever you have: a location, a deed, a sketch, an architect's drawing or a planning letter. The first conversation is about scoping the question properly.

How we work

1

Scoping

We define the question, the decision it feeds and the documents that will settle it.

2

Site and records

We visit the site and review the drawings, title and approvals that bear on the answer.

3

Analysis

The engineering is worked through against the applicable requirements and the site's realities.

4

Written advice

You receive a report or opinion written to be acted on — and, where needed, presented to an authority or lender.
